La Strada-Ukraine’s hotline is the only professional hotline aimed at children and youth that is open 24/7. About 30% of all contacts with children take place during night-time when all other support services are closed. Therefore, it is crucial for the hotline to remain open during the hours of the evening, night and early morning. Often it is during these hours that bomb shelling takes place and children and youth are in most need of support.
