It responds to the urgent challenges faced by civil society globally, such as shrinking civic space, political repression, climate crises, and rising inequalities, by reinforcing the agency, resilience, and sustainability of civil society actors. Rooted in a feminist power analysis, WILPF Sweden works to ensure that women’s voices, experiences, and leadership are central in conflict prevention and decision-making at local, national, and international levels. Feminist, pacifist and antimilitarist in our values and approach, we promote and amplify the voices of women and allies who are advancing peaceful and sustainable alternatives to crises and conflicts.
