TZ-NNCB-06NGO-00010000-SCORE-KASULU-2026 Endeleza Wazee Kigoma (EWAKI) Strengthening the Voices of Older People in Kasulu District through Inclusive Dialogue and Collaboration with Civil Society, Stakeholders, and Local Government Authority. This 8-month project addresses the exclusion of older people from decision-making, weak representation in policy dialogues, and ageism in Kasulu District, Kigoma Region. It creates inclusive platforms for dialogue and collaboration between older people, civil society, and Kasulu Town Council through advocacy meetings, community dialogues, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building sessions, empowering older people to influence local policies and gain recognition as contributors to governance and development. Enhance older people's participation in governance through inclusive dialogue platforms with OPAs, civil society, and local government. 2) Build the capacity of civil society and OPAs to advocate on ageing issues healthy ageing, income security, and human rights with gender and disability inclusion integrated throughout. 3) Raise public awareness on ageism and exclusion through campaigns, advocacy briefs, and radio programmes. 4) Strengthen collaboration between stakeholders through joint advocacy meetings and policy dialogues. 120 older people directly (50 women, 50 men, and 20 persons with disabilities) in Kasulu Town Council and surrounding wards, plus over 1,000 community members reached indirectly through awareness campaigns across wider Kigoma communities.
