    <narrative xml:lang="en">The project aims to contribute to the following impact: civil society effectively contributes to Armenia's democratic resilience in a period of external and domestic turbulence.&#13;
The project aims to have strengthened civil society interventions in upholding democratic values and practices (Outcome 1). To this end, the following three Outputs will be pursued: Improved civil society outreach to citizens to promote democratic practices (Output 1.1). Responsive civil society measures to reduce the spread and impact of government and/or foreign information manipulation campaigns (Output 1.2). Improved civil society monitoring and advocacy to uphold the principles of competitiveness and transparency in the 2026 elections season (Output 1.3). &#13;
As for the second phase of the project, it has two designs, depending on the two probable developments in the post-election. Scenario #1 Enhanced civil society participation in implementing effective democratic reforms (Outcome 2). Coordinated civil society advocacy for implementing Armenia's commitments under Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and Visa Liberalisation Action Plan (Output 2.1). Continuous civil society support to uphold the rights of vulnerable groups (Output 2.2). Scenario #2 Enhanced civil society resistance to authoritarian resurgence (Outcome 2). Sustained civic spaces despite government pressure (Output 2.1) Independent media operating amidst the shrinking of civic space (Output 2.2) Functional mechanisms for defending human rights and freedoms for vulnerable groups and human rights defenders (Output 2.3).</narrative>
